Art in the Park 2017

Image: Artist collageArt in the Park will run from Sunday, July 16 to Wednesday evening, July 19, 2017.

The resident artists, Carol L. Douglas, Ed Buonvecchio, Russel Whitten, Christine Tullson Mathieu, and Anthony Watkins will paint whatever catches their eye. These artists seem to have fallen in love with Ocean Park and represent a variety of styles that Ocean Parkers seem to like, and buy! In addition, Ocean Parkers can commission the resident artists to paint pets, kids, cottages, or any combination thereof.  We will post at Jakeman Hall where the artists can be seen, and all are welcome to talk to the artists as they paint.

The artists will start painting Sunday afternoon, or Monday morning.  All paintings will be displayed at the Wet Paint Sale, even those that have been commissioned to be painted.  Each artist will have a section in The Temple and will arrange their own paintings.

All sales will go through the Ocean Park Association.  Unsold paintings will be kept in Jakeman Hall until the end of 2017.  We will then return any unsold paintings to the artists.
