June 22 - June 27: 9:00-11:00 Vacation Bible School: "Everest." .............................Jordan Hall
Registration begins at 8:45 for the five sessions, Monday through Friday. Teachers: Wendy Warnecke, Rosemary Salisbury, Victoria Libby. Cost: $5 donation per child. Sponsored by the Educational Bureau.

June 26-29: 1:30-9:00 Self-Discovery: Intensive Journal Method ………………Porter Hall
Learn an effective way to gain insights about your life using a nationally recognized method called the Intensive Journal program. The certified presenter, Avis Smalley, PhD, will guide you step by step through each exercise as you write in privacy, applying the exercise to your life. The exercises cover such important topics as personal relationships, body and health, and life experiences. You don't have to like to write nor be a good writer. No one comments on your life. Service of Blessing and Healing: Wednesdays in July and August ................................Various locations
Join us for a half hour every Wednesday in July and August (various locations) for a time of Blessing and Healing. Pray silently in community or share your prayers. The Laying on of Hands and Anointing with oil may be received by request. Led by different resident clergy each week. (no cost)

July 25: 8:00 pm: Dennis James: Silent Movie.............. Temple
Take a step back in time to circa 1920 and see a silent movie accompanied by Dennis James, a noted organist who plays scores written for each specific film. The Perkins-Wilson pipe organ in the Temple will be given a chance to show its versatility! Cost: $12.00.

11:00am-1:30 pm Janet Wade & Bev Grant will teach the class. The picture will be of the ocean with sailboats, sandy beach, and sea grass in the foreground. Small shells can be added as desired. All skill levels are welcomed. Pre-registration is required along with a $20 fee to cover the cost of materials. Please register at the OPA office in Jakeman Hall by noon of the Monday before the class. Maximum enrollment is 15 participants.

A two-part class presented by Doug Freese being offered on August 4/5 and repeated on August 10/11. Learn functions, tips and tricks on how to take better snapshots using your cell phone, iPad, or your point and shoot camera. Cost: $5 suggested donation.

How to Listen to God – Overcoming Addiction Through Practice of 2-Way Prayer, presented by Stephanie Edgerly. See July 13 for program information. The workshop includes quiet writing, prayer, music, and discussion, as well as a copy of the book. Pre-registration and $30 program fee required at the OPA office.

August 23: 11:30 am: Renew and Restore Our Village Square Celebration...............Temple
Join us in a procession as the Brass Choir leads us from the Temple down Temple Avenue to a grandstand in the square where we will celebrate the capital campaign as it comes to a close. Light refreshments will be offered in all the buildings improved by your generous donations.
