Book Sale to benefit the library scheduled for August 7 and 8 is cancelled.

Something NEW at the Library
Instead of the usual Book Sale that was scheduled for August 7 and 8, stop by the Library during regular hours where you will find two mobile book carts just full of used books to buy on your way to do some reading on the beach! Used books will now be available on a regular basis!

DONATE BOOKS! The Memorial Library greatly appreciates gently loved books that you would be proud to give away to support our book sales events.

In some cases your donations can be added to the Library's collection; the remainder will be sold at the two summer book sales that provide income for Library programs. Your contributions of gently loved books that you would be proud to give away are always greatly appreciated.

Check Carefully Before Donating:
We regret we are unable to accept the following items, which cannot be added to the Library collection, and will not sell at book sales:

Cook Books; Encyclopedias; Readers Digest Condensed Books; Text Books; Computer Books (they are usually outdated); Business magazines; National Geographic magazines; Travel Guides over 5 years old; Tapes.

Check for mold on books stored in a basement (musty odor common to damp basements). Mildewed, dirty, or moldy books and any books more than 8 years old also cannot be accepted for our book sale.
