The genesis of Small Boy Pete’s dates back to 2001 when songwriters and guitarists Pete Grenier and Carrie Grenier were joined by Al Smith on bass and Ken Janson on drums to record a CD of original music penned by the Grenier’s. The recording effort led to local performances by the band to promote the “Live to Breathe” disc as well as an earlier all original CD titled “The Neighborhood”.
The Small Boy Pete’s redux combines the same four friends now performing covers of favorite tunes from their varied musical backgrounds, including songs by Tom Petty, Jackson Browne, No Doubt, Pat Benetar, B.T.O., and many other artists.
