Healthy You Series
Yoga Fitness Classes are held every Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at the Rec Hall from 9:00-10:00 am starting June 26 through August 31. Led by yoga instructor Eliza Pierce.
Bring your own mat or towel and come try it! Thursday classes will include Pilates!
Cost: $5.00 per session, all welcome.
Sunset Yoga classes with Eliza will also be offered on the beach at the end of Colby Ave., every Wednesday from June 28 to August 30, 5:45-7:00 pm.
Meet at the Rec Hall at 5:45 pm and walk to the beach.
Cost: $5.00 per session.
Zumba Fitness Classes are held every Wednesday and Friday at the Rec Hall from June 28 through September 1 from 9:00-10:00 am.
Zumba is an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow Latin-inspired calorie burning dance fitness-party taught by Nancy Greenblatt, a licensed Zumba instructor.
Cost: $5.00 per session.
Walking Club
Join us for a brisk walk every Tuesday at 8:00 am from June 27 through August 22 (not on July 4 due to Independence Day activities).
Free, all ages welcome!
Meet in front of the Rec Hall and walk for approximately 1-2 miles, but walk as long or as short as you’d like, enjoying Ocean Park’s routes and trails.
Yoga & Menopause – 3 Sessions
Sponsored by The Educational Bureau
This workshop will include information, discussion and gentle movement facilitated by Anne Parsons Marchant, a 500 hour yoga facilitator with a particular interest in the Neuroscience of yoga. Come to one or all 3 sessions. All are welcome, regardless of gender or age. Consider loose, comfortable clothing. No prior yoga experience is needed.
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm at the Rec Hall.
