Family Sand Sculpture Competition

Theme: “SEA CREATURES”

Thursday, July 2, 2026

3:00 pm – 6:00 pm

On the beach between Randall and Ancona Avenues

High Tide: 1:48pm Low Tide: 7:25pm

RULES:

• Obtain a registration form from the Rec Hall, Jakeman Hall, or at the end of Temple Avenue on the beach the day of the competition
• Stake off a 20 X 20 foot plot
• No Mechanical devices or structural supports in your final design
• No fires or fireworks
• Paints must be water-soluble
• Plan to remove all “accessories” and plot stakes before tide comes in.

JUDGING begins at 6:30pm:  Based upon Artistic Ability, Originality, Design Detail, Use of Space, and Special Effects

Winners will be announced at 7:00 pm on the beach
