Recreation Programs for Children & Youth
The Agnes L. Park Recreation Building – also known as the Rec Hall – is located at Colby Ave. between W. Grand and Clover and is open from June 20 through August 18 (closed on July 4 due to Independence Day activities).
The Rec Hall is open Monday through Friday from 2:00 to 5:00 pm for children 7-17 years old, but under 10 must be accompanied by an older sibling or adult.
The Rec Hall has a shuffleboard table, pool table, ping pong, air hockey, foosball, board games, crafts, a snack bar and more. Outside is a GaGa Ball Pit, a basketball hoop, and plenty of space for a dodgeball tournament or whatever the Director envisions for this season.
Rec Hall memberships are as follows (10% family discount for OPA members):
Season: OPA Members – $100 Non-Members – $125
Monthly: OPA Members – $60 Non-Members – $80
Weekly: OPA Members – $25 Non-Members – $30
Daily: OPA Members – $6 Non-Members – $7

Junior Dances, ages 7-12 – Mondays 7:00-9:00 pm: June 26, July 10, July 24, August 7, August 21. Admission is $6 or $4 for Rec. Hall members.
Teen Dances, ages 13+ – Fridays 8:00-10:00 pm: July 7, July 21, August 4, August 18. Admission is $6 or $4 for Rec. Hall members.
July 4, 8:30 am: Decorated Bicycle Contest returns! Bring your decorated bicycle to the Rec Hall for Judging! Awards to the top 3 finishers! Then ride in the Parade.
August 11, 7:00-9:00 pm Kids Game Night– an evening out for parents. Drop your kids off (ages 7-17) for fun and games. Cost: $15.

Teddy Bear Picnic
Aug. 19, 3:30 to 5:00 pm at the Bandstand. (moved to the Rec Hall if rain).
Put this event on your bear’s social calendar and bring your teddy bear to meet other teddy bears at the Teddy Bear Picnic! Refreshments, stories and games…for all ages! Free. Louise Hackett is the picnic hostess and can be reached at (603) 424-5957
Fairy Garden Day
July 7 at the Fairy Garden, on Temple Ave. across from Jordan Hall
Join the fairies in the garden from 10:30-11:30.
