Get Involved with Music – Choir or Band!
The Temple Choir is directed by Jerry Scheinfeldt and usually rehearses each Saturday at 5:30 pm and Sunday morning at 9:30 am in the Temple. (No rehearsal Saturday, August 5 due to Illumination Night activities.)
All visiting choir members are welcome to attend, even if you will only be in Ocean Park for one or two Sundays.
If you plan to sing on Sunday, please attend the rehearsal on Saturday.

The schedule, times and locations of the rehearsals are subject to change depending on the on-going pandemic and conflicts that may arise.
The Temple Bell Choir, directed by Susan Evans, plays every Sunday and rehearses each Sunday morning at 8:00 am in the Temple.
The choir plays level 2, 2+ and 3 music. There is a core of ringers who come each week, as well as ringers from an active substitute list. If you would like to ring with us, let us know when you will be in town and we will add you to our “available” list for those dates. Just email Sue Evans at opsue2@verizon.net or call the OPA office to make your interest known.

The Temple Brass is directed by Dan Evans. The Temple Brass plays every Sunday and rehearses for the Sunday service at 9:05 am Sunday morning in Porter Hall.
The Brass performs at a Wednesday Evening at Jordan program on August 2 in Jordan Hall. All brass players are welcome.

The Ocean Park Band, celebrating its 50th year, is under the direction of bandmaster Dan Evans. The Band will play for the Independence Day Parade Concert (July 4 at the Bell Tower) and the Illumination Night Concert (Aug. 5 at the Bandstand). Visiting instrumentalists are urged to come and join the fun!
Rehearsals are scheduled as follows:
Sat., 7/1, 7:00 pm at Porter Hall for the Independence Day concert
Tues., 7/4, 9:30 am at Porter Hall for the Independence Day concert
Sat., 8/5, 4:00 pm in the Rec Hall (concert at 6:30 at the Bandstand)
The uniform for both performances will be the OP Band Shirt (gold) and tan, navy blue, or white pants, shorts, or skirts. If you do not have a band shirt they will be available for purchase at rehearsal. FMI call Dan Evans at 508-982-7992.
