Theater Dance Camps at the Temple (sponsored by The Educational Bureau)

9:00 AM to 11:30 AM Theatre Dance Camp for children ages 6-15, Monday through Friday, in the Temple. The fee is $100 for the week. For information, contact Sandra Kurkjy at 207-899-5139.
11:30 AM – 12:00 PM, Friday, July 17: Finale – a lively and entertaining performance by all children who have participated in the theater dance camps during the week. The Temple. All welcome.
Art Explorers Camp

Ecology Adventure Camp
Ecology Adventure Camp (ages 6-12) based at Porter Hall (sponsored by The Educational Bureau). This program offers children and youth the opportunity to explore the ecology of the pine forest, the salt marsh and the beach. Cost is $20.00 per day. Ocean Park Kidz Got Talent Camp
Bring your special talent and rehearse it during the week in this new camp! The camp will run Monday through Friday mornings July 28 through August 1 and culminate in an Ocean Park’s Kidz Got Talent Show on August 1 at 11:00 AM. In addition to having practice and rehearsal time, all participants will perform in one or two fun dance numbers learned at the camp. $100 camp fee. Beach Olympics Camp
Beach Olympics Camp (ages 6-13) at Jordan Hall (sponsored by The Educational Bureau). Enjoy a week of games/relays/reaces on the beach! Contact Beth Keene at keene1512@aol.com to pre-register. Group meets at Jordan before heading to the beach. Sponsored by the Education Bureau. Cost is $100.00/week.

Improv/Comedy Classes Return!

Children and teens can find their funny bone in these fun improvisational classes and showcases led by Tyler Paterson.
The class is offered six times this summer, each consisting of three 2-hour classes: The first hour of each session is for ages 6-12, followed by ages 13-18.
The first class is building characters; second class is building scenes; and the final showcase (family, friends and community welcome) puts it all together.
The first 2 classes are held at the Rec Hall, 7-9 PM, and the final showcase will be at Jordan Hall at 7:00 PM.
Dates for 2026 are July 1-3, July 8-10, July 15-17, July 29-31, August 5-7, August 12-14
