Today, Linda Lauritano, President of the Ocean Park Association announced a new initiative to recognize the contributions of the Association’s dedicated volunteers and supporters. In: making the announcement, she said, “Ocean Park is a generous and welcoming community, due in large measure to our volunteers. Thank you to this group of extraordinary individuals who work diligently year-round to ensure a vibrant Ocean Park community.”
Ocean Park Association (OPA) is proud to launch the OPA APPRECIATION AWARDS, a recognition program honoring the people and partners who generously give their time, energy, and support to the Ocean Park Association.
In 2025, 147 volunteers contributed more than 6,000 hours of service equating to approximately $150,000 in vital services to the Ocean Park Association.

Volunteer of the Year Award—recognizes an individual who made an exceptional contribution to Ocean Park this year through volunteer service and leadership.
Lifetime Service Award—honors an individual whose long-standing dedication and support has helped strengthen the Ocean Park Association over many years.
Community Partner Award—recognizes a local business or vendor who has provided meaningful support through donations, services, sponsorships, or ongoing partnership.
Above and Beyond Award—celebrates a volunteer who stepped up in an extraordinary way—going above and beyond to meet a need or make a project successful.
Nominations are open through April 15, 2026. Nominations may be made by any member of the Association. Awardees will be selected by an ad hoc Awards sub-Committee appointed by the Association President.
Award winners will be celebrated at the 4th Annual OPA Dance and Auction on July 11, 2026. More details will be forthcoming on the dance and auction, but please take the time to make your nominations today.
