Get Involved with Music!
The Temple Choir usually rehearses each Saturday at 5:30 PM and Sunday morning at 9:00 AM in the Temple. (No rehearsal Saturday, August 1 due to Illumination Night activities.) The first choir rehearsal, on June 20, will start at 5:30 PM.
All visiting choir members are welcome to attend, even if you will only be in Ocean Park for one or two Sundays.
If you plan to sing on Sunday, please attend the rehearsal on Saturday.
The Temple Choir will also rehearse on August 3-7 at 5:30 in preparation for the Temple Choir Concert on August 8.
The schedule, times and locations of the rehearsals are subject to change.
The Temple Bell Choir, directed by Audrey Cabral, plays every other Sunday beginning the week of June 28 (July 12, 26, August 9 and 23) and rehearses those Sunday mornings from 8-9 AM in the Temple. The bell choir plays level 2+ and 3 music; music will be scanned to you before that Sunday morning. There is a core of ringers who play those Sundays, as well as ringers from an active substitute list.

The Temple Brass is directed by Dan Evans. The Temple Brass plays every Sunday and rehearses for the Sunday service at 8:45 AM Sunday morning in Porter Hall.

The Ocean Park Band, also directed by Audrey Cabral, plays in the Fourth of July Independence Day Parade and concert and the Illumination Night Concert on Saturday, August 2. Instrumentalists at all playing levels are encouraged to come, play and have fun!
The uniform for both performances is the OP Band shirt and tan, navy blue or white pants, shorts or skirts. If you do not have a band shirt, they will be available for purchase.
